Ingredients
1 small tin condensed milk
50g (2ozs) butter or marg
225g (8ozs) plain chocolate
25g (1oz) raisins
125g (5ozs) rich tea biscuits
- Line a 1 lb loaf tin with cling film
- Place condensed milk in a saucepan, add butter and half the chocolate, broken into pieces. Melt this gently over a low heat, stirring to prevent sticking.
- Remove pan from heat. Stir in raisins. Break biscuits into small pieces and stir into mix.
- Place mixture into tin, press down well and chill until set.
- Turn on to a serving dish, melt remaining chocolate and spread over cake. Leave to set. Cut into thin slices as it is very rich.
