Ingredients
¾ lb cold roast beef
3oz onions
1 (6 ½oz) can tomatoes
1 (7 ¾oz) can baked beans
1 level tspn flour
1 level tspn gravy powder
Salt & pepper
1 lb potatoes
3oz Scottish cheddar cheese
- Mince the cold roast beef and onions into a bowl. Stir in the canned tomatoes, baked beans, flour, gravy powder, salt & pepper and turn into a 1 ½ pint shallow pie dish.
- Peel and slice the potatoes, arrange on top of the meat.
- Bake @ gas mark 5 / 375°F, for approximately 40 minutes.
- 10 minutes before end of baking time, sprinkle with grated cheese.
NB. A good quick way of using up cold roast beef.
