Mackerel Baked with Yogurt & Cream

Ingredients

4 medium sized mackerel
1 (5floz) carton natural yogurt
4 tbspns. fresh double cream
Salt & pepper
Lemon wedges
Watercress

 

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to gas mark 5, 375°F
  2. Wash mackerel, dry them well and place them in an ovenproof  dish
  3. Beat the yogurt and cream together.  Season to taste and pour over the fish.  Bake for 15 – 20 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
  4. Serve garnished with lemon wedges and watercress.
