Ingredients
4 oz margarine
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 lb pkt. chopped dates
1 oz chopped cherries
4 cups of rice krispies
Method
- Melt margarine and sugar and add the chopped dates
- Simmer gently until soft, add the cherries and the krispies, spread on greased tray and smooth out
- Cover with melted chocolate, leave in tin to set and cut into fingers or squares
- Mark with fork just before chocolate sets
